Camp Ho Mita Koda in 1955 and 1956

"I remember attending camp the two summers I was 7 and 8 when I lived in Berea, Ohio. One year I was the youngest person to attend and the next year there was another girl younger than I, but she went home early because she was homesick. I stayed because I was having too much fun. I was diagnosed with diabetes in March 1955 and one of the first things I learned was to give myself my own insulin injection so I thought it strange when I got to camp and no one did this. I remember slipping down in the pool in the yard in front of the dining hall before supper and having to go change my clothes making me late for dinner. I have many, many more memories too. Thanks for the many, many good memories."
