Backpack Bivouac XV raises $39,000 for children with diabetes
Camp Ho Mita Koda's 15th annual fundraiser, "Backpack Bivouac XV: Saturday Night Cabin Fever," held on September 9, 2006, raised $39,000 for Camp Ho Mita Koda.

The event attracted 300 guest donned in their best 70's attire. "Generation Gap" provided the music and "A Taste of Excellence" catering prepared the gourmet meal that guests enjoyed in camper cabins. The evening also featured a silent auction and a live auction, emceed by honorary co-chairs of the event - Tom Beres of WKYC and Kathy Randall of Time Warner Cable. Special thanks to event chair, Tricia Vance, and auction co-chairs, Cindy Fairchild and Sarah Vergon.
