18th Annual Mark Laccheo Memorial Ride

The 18th annual Mark Laccheo Memorial Ride, sponsored by the Blue Knights Chapter Ohio XV, will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2008. All proceeds will benefit Camp Ho Mita Koda. The Blue Knights' International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club is a non-profit fraternal organization of active and retired law enforcement men and women who ride motorcycles. Mark Laccheo was the Chapter Ohio XV's first vice president who died at the age of 36. Since its first run in 1990, the Blue Knights have raised approximately $21,000 for Camp Ho Mita Koda.

This year this escorted ride will start at 12 noon and end at approximately 1 p.m. at Camp Ho Mita Koda in Newbury. After the ride there will be lunch, door prizes and raffles. Registration is from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.. The donation to ride is $15.00 for drivers and $10.00 for riders. Call (440)-259-4932 for more information.
